Team MUJSALON.COM decided to ask Petra Chalupnéhabout – fitness and nutrition specialist, as with the STS picked up weight, turn and make dream weight. KET career began at the elementary school athletes, ever tried to do JUDO. As he says himself, He was very tall and thin, which is a handicap in this sport, that's why he started going to the gym in high school and has stayed with him until today. He has been active in the world of fitness for a year 1991. He first worked as a coach in Liberec, now you can find it in Prague in the OLYMPA FITNESS network.

 

Pete, what a typical day of a fitness trainer looks like?

A typical day looks like this, that I get up in the morning, I eat and cook food for the whole day. People go to exercise mostly in the morning and early morning. And then afternoon and evening, there is a break in between, in which I go to practice alone.

 

You follow a diet?

If you want to do something with your character, food is very important. It cannot be done without it. If you want results, you have to train and eat well, one doesn't work very well without the other. I eat very simply. I eat oatmeal with protein for breakfast, i can add almonds or seeds. Tohle snídám denně, kromě soboty, to jím podle chuti. Den bez pravidel. For the whole day, I cook meat with rice and vegetables and divide it into individual portions. There are no carbohydrates in the last meal of the day - I have either meat with vegetables or eggs for dinner. I also add olive oil. I've been eating like this for approx 20 years.

No tak snažím se, aby mi to chutnalo, of course 🙂 But in bodybuilding, food is essentially fuel and building material, they are not gourmet feasts. I have Saturdays since. Of course, one has the biggest appetites during the pre-competition diets, which are really hard. At the same time, one is permanently terribly tired. Who hasn't been through it, he can't even know what he's talking about. After such a diet, you can also enjoy a dry roll. One friend even enjoyed sparkling water during his first race prep – on those bubbles.

What food do you like to eat on Saturday??

Kebab, china, pastry, cheese – what do I feel like... I used to like sweets a lot, but that somehow passes me over time.

 

Give advice to our readers, how to find a good coach.

No, this can be a pain sometimes. It sure is good, when the coach has results or if you know people, who have already gone to practice with the given trainer and it had a positive effect on them. If one does not know at all, he can, for example, first walk on a treadmill or a stationary bike in the gym and observe the trainers from there and he will see, who works in what style.

 

How best can we start a healthy lifestyle.

It is necessary to start gradually. If you want to draw a thick line and start living differently from tomorrow, so very few people can stand it, basically almost no one. After a longer or shorter time, you will fall back to the previous mode. I recommend gradually starting to eat better and start exercising gradually. You can start going for long walks instead of going to the gym on the first day. This only lasts for a short time for most people and then it's over. Start gradually in the gym too, start by strengthening the torso corset and let such a trainer guide you, which takes you through the very basics first,

and not that he wants to make you a competitor in half a year. Don't want overnight results, je to postupný proces. You didn't get fat overnight either, so you won't even lose weight overnight. Don't break it over the knee, if you break the diet once, nezhroutí se svět. Feel free to set a day once a week when you will eat according to your taste, it will help you both physically and mentally. Take it gradually and be patient.

How is the cooperation with you?, when can i go practice with you?

It is best to meet in person at the beginning, pobavíme se o cílech, exercise, jídle a termínech. I usually create the menu after the first meeting. It's okay to take a picture at the beginning, clothing can also be a good indicator, there you can easily observe the changes. Weight is not always the best indicator and should not be too much of a concern, because it says nothing about muscle to fat ratios, amount of water and the like, many people deal with it too much. I always enjoy it, when we meet a goal with the client, whatever it is. People exercise for different reasons: someone because his back hurts, someone wants to lose weight, another to gain muscle. Some people call for it, to learn how to exercise properly. What a person is a different goal. I like clients, with whom he is comfortable.

 

Now you also run EMS BODY DEVOLOPMENT what attracted you to this type of exercise?.

Before I heard about electrostimulation, so I thought it was complete nonsense that doesn't work at all, I think I was probably the most skeptical person in the world, but then I tried it myself and I totally changed my mind 🙂 If I had to say for whom EMS is suitable, it is mainly busy people who have little time for classic exercises and after the gym they tend to hang around with their work phone in hand anyway, for you it is certainly much more effective than such "training", and athletes across the sports spectrum, for which it can make their existing training significantly more efficient, and then also injured athletes, who can thus train even in states in which their standard training is not possible. For example, if you cannot train because of an injured joint, so with the EMS method you can stimulate the muscles without loading the joints. Last but not least, I have to mention that EMS training also stimulates muscles deep inside the body, muscles that the vast majority of people neglect and yet have a major impact on health, so it can also benefit people with various medical conditions.
